In today’s post, I’m diving into the world of analog photography with two interesting film stocks: Kodak ColorPlus 200 and Lomography Color Tiger 110. These films offer a nostalgic experience and unique color renditions that make them a fun choice for retro photography lovers. Kodak ColorPlus 200: This 35mm film, with 36 exposures, is known for its vibrant colors and fine grain. It’s the perfect song to learn about chords, inversions, and how voicing changes the sound entirely. I practiced it on piano, electric guitar, and bass, trying to feel the difference each instrument brings. It’s helping me better understand music theory, and I’ve started recognizing 2-5-1 progressions and how bass notes shape harmony. Each session brings new “aha” moments. I’m not just memorizing chords — I’m starting to hear and feel them. Music theory is no longer abstract; it’s becoming real through my fingers and ears. This journey may be slow, but it’s deeply rewarding. And I’m just getting started.
