🎶 Looping "Just the Two of Us" – Cover Session! Today, I’m experimenting with live looping by covering Grover Washington Jr.'s "Just the Two of Us." Instead of using a full band, I’m layering each instrument myself, starting with: 🎹 Piano – Setting the foundation with smooth chords 🥁 Drums – Creating a laid-back groove 🎸 Bass – Adding warmth and groove 🎤 Vocals – Bringing the melody to life 🎛️ Synthesizers – Adding some dreamy textures After recording all the loops, I mixed the audio to make everything blend smoothly. In today’s post, I’m diving into the world of analog photography with two interesting film stocks: Kodak ColorPlus 200 and Lomography Color Tiger 110. These films offer a nostalgic experience and unique color renditions that make them a fun choice for retro photography lovers. It’s helping me better understand music theory, and I’ve started recognizing 2-5-1 progressions and how bass notes shape harmony. Each session brings new “aha” moments. I’m not just memorizing chords — I’m starting to hear and feel them. Music theory is no longer abstract; it’s becoming real through my fingers and ears.
