Choosing the Right PC for Local AI and Creative Work: My Build Explained

When it comes to building a desktop for creative and AI-based workflows, the right balance of CPU, GPU, and system stability matters.

I chose Intel Core Ultra 7 and RTX 5070 Ti (16GB) for a powerful yet cost-effective setup for local AI tools, 2D/3D editing, music creation, and coding.

I also considered:

  • Lightweight laptop + remote desktop

  • High-end laptops (but airflow concerns long-term)

  • Used desktops (but unreliable for longevity)

  • AMD setups (great but compatibility concerns for certain AI software)

In the end, stability, local performance, and compatibility won.
