🚶‍♂️ Walking in Japan – From Akabane Station to Arakawa River Join me on a peaceful walk in Japan, starting from Akabane Station, a charming local area known for its izakaya-filled streets, and continuing all the way to the beautiful Arakawa River. I walked through vibrant streets lined with izakayas, restaurants, and local shops before reaching the wide, open riverside where nature, peace, and city life blend perfectly. At the river, I sat down to enjoy a simple but satisfying snack: onigiri and beer. The Arakawa area is clean and calming, with baseball and football fields, natural walking paths, and an amazing sight of around 200 birds along the riverbanks. People walk their dogs, cycle, play sports, and even enjoy drumming by the river. 📍 Highlights: Starting walk from Akabane Station Exploring local izakaya streets and back alleys Reaching the vast and peaceful Arakawa River Eating onigiri and drinking beer by the water Watching birds and seeing wildlife signs (including...
