My Resident Evil 5 Journey is Getting Wild! Chapters 4 & 5 Recap

Wow, a lot happened in my latest Resident Evil 5 video! After making it through the first three chapters, I tackled a huge chunk of the game, covering everything from the Caves to The Research Facility. It was a wild ride, and I wanted to share my spoiler-free thoughts on what I experienced.

The Challenge of Chapter 4

Chapter 4 felt like a puzzle. The Caves were tricky to navigate, and the main challenge wasn't just surviving the enemies, but figuring out how to progress. It was a lot of fun, and the feeling of finally solving the puzzles was incredibly rewarding. The area felt so different from the previous chapters, which I loved.

Surviving Chapters 5-1 and 5-2

I hit a major wall with the boss in Chapter 5-1. It took me a long time to figure out what I was supposed to be doing, and I got pretty frustrated in the process! After finally winning, I thought I was ready for anything, but the next boss in Chapter 5-2 introduced a completely different kind of terror. I'm not going to lie—having to get uncomfortably close to a scary boss to hit its weak point was a genuinely terrifying experience!

Why I'm Still Having a Blast

What makes this game so good is that it never gets boring. Just when you think you've seen it all, it throws a completely new environment at you with different enemies and challenges. From the open areas of the Savanna to the claustrophobic Caves and now the sterile feel of The Research Facility, the pacing is fantastic.
